Becker Music Studio, Inc. provides piano lessons and guitar lessons to students in the greater Sacramento County area including Fair Oaks and Carmichael.

The Becker Music Studio is dedicated to providing the very best service, customized lesson plans, and musical education for you and your child. Music appreciation, musicianship, and nurturing your child’s musical development are my primary objectives. Seeing and hearing you or your child excel at piano – making those notes come to life and creating some of the most beautiful music ever – is sheer joy for me!”
Piano Lessons
As an active member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California since 1982, Bill Becker prepares students to meet the challenges and goals of the Certificate of MeritTM (CM) program as administered by the MTAC. His students are successful in their efforts, and achieve wonderful results.
Mr. Becker’s teaching approach is classical. This is not about playing by ear. There is no substitute for hard work. Music is hard fun! Bill Becker teaches and tests for understanding for all assignments. It is up to the student to practice. Yes, “Ya gotta wanna!”
There is weekly accountability. Every student is expected to meet the goals and accomplish the objectives given at each lesson. In addition to their instructor, Mr. Becker is the student’s musical coach.
Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Lessons
Bill Becker teaches beginning, intermediate, and advanced piano for children and adults. You might ask, “What’s the best age to begin my child in formal piano instruction?” Please call to discuss your particular situation. Lessons are individual. Please contact us to schedule your free audition, interview, and/or an assessment of your child’s readiness for piano.
Guitar Lessons
Gabe Becker has been teaching guitar in the Sacramento area since 2001. Mr. Becker’s students have gone on to receive top prizes in competitions, including the 2010 regional American String Teacher’s Association (ASTA) Guitar Competition.
For your convenience Gabe teaches in two locations: Rocklin, CA (across the street from Sierra College) and Fair Oaks, CA.
Lessons are available for all ages and experience levels.
In addition to traditional guitar lessons, Gabe offers a Suzuki Guitar Program (click for more details).
